The STQRY product family

Part of the STQRY overview course. About 15 min.

You'll learn to

  • Name each STQRY product, who it's for and what it's used for
  • Explain why a customer's second product is easier than their first
  • Know where to find each product's training

Everything starts in STQRY Builder

  • One place to build stops, tours and media
  • Every other product uses what's built there
  • STQRY Studio adds AI tools inside it

STQRY Builder is where customers do all their work. They add their stops, tours, images, audio and translations there, and every other product uses what they've built. Customers don't buy Builder on its own. It comes with whichever product they use.

STQRY Studio is a set of AI tools inside Builder, launched in 2026. Studio Translate translates content into more than 55 languages. Studio Voice records narration with an AI voice. Studio Connect lets AI assistants such as Claude work with a customer's content. Studio features run on credits included in the customer's plan. See Getting Started with STQRY Studio Connect.

One app platform, three ways in

Plan For Visitors use
Apps Organisations wanting their own app Their own branded app
Guide Getting started fast Our STQRY Guide app
Marketplace Tour sellers Guide or their own app

STQRY Apps, STQRY Guide and STQRY Marketplace are the same app platform. Tours, stops, maps and audio are built the same way in Builder and work the same way on a visitor's phone. What changes is how we package it for different kinds of customer, and how visitors get to the content.

STQRY Apps gives a customer their own branded visitor app on iOS, Android and the web. Museums, parks, destinations and tour operators use it for self-guided tours, audio guides and storytelling, and visitors can use it offline. It's most of our business.

STQRY Guide publishes a customer's tours into our own STQRY Guide app, already live on the App Store and Google Play. They can be up and running in minutes without an app of their own, alongside tours from customers around the world.

STQRY Marketplace is a plan for customers who sell their tours, from independent storytellers and content creators to organisations. Their tours are published into STQRY Guide or into their own app, and visitors buy access codes or pay in the app.

So when a customer asks which one they need, start with who they are and how they want visitors to find them. Do they want their own brand, a quick start, or a way to sell tours?

On site

Product Who it's for What it's used for
Kiosk Museums and visitor centres Touch screens visitors explore
Signage Venues and tour vehicles Digital signage nobody touches
Fleet Venues that lend devices Tours on the venue's own devices

STQRY Kiosk puts content on interactive touch screens, so visitors can explore it in the gallery. Curators use it for digital labels and interactives, and one project can go out to as many touch screens as they need.

STQRY Signage is digital signage for lobbies, galleries and ticket offices, and for displays on board tour vehicles. The first display is free. See its product training.

STQRY Fleet is for devices a venue lends or rents to visitors, such as tablets on a tour boat or in a museum, locked to the venue's own content. Visitors don't need their own phone or a download. Fleet's driver mode is moving to STQRY Signage.

Collections online

  • STQRY Collect publishes collections and community archives on the web

STQRY Collect is for museums, libraries, archives and community heritage groups that want their collections online. It stores digital objects such as photographs, books and oral histories. Collect publishes them as a website the public can browse, comment on and add to.

Say a city library has thousands of scanned photographs of its region. With Collect, the community can explore them, tag the people they recognise and share their own memories. Palmerston North's Manawatū Heritage website is built this way.

Collect content doesn't appear in a customer's app or on a kiosk yet.

New products

  • STQRY Engage forms and feedback
  • STQRY Chat an AI guide that answers visitors' questions

Two products are new, and you can offer both to customers today.

STQRY Engage collects forms and feedback from visitors. A customer can send a form by email or embed it in their app or on a kiosk. Say a museum wants to know what visitors thought of a new exhibition. Engage asks them.

STQRY Chat is an AI chatbot that answers visitors' questions in their own words, drawn from the customer's own content. It can stand alone, reached from a web link, or sit inside an app or on a kiosk.

Build once, use it everywhere

Apps Guide Marketplace Kiosk Signage Fleet Collect Engage Chat STQRY Builder

  • One login
  • One library of content
  • The same languages and branding everywhere

Everything a customer builds in STQRY Builder is available to every STQRY product they use.

Say a museum already has a visitor app with us. Their stops, photos, audio and translations are all in Builder. If they add digital signage in the lobby, those displays can show that content straight away. Same languages, same branding. When they update something in Builder, it updates everywhere.

That makes a second product an easy conversation with an existing customer. Most of the work is already done.

Check your understanding

  • A museum wants a digital sign in its lobby. Which product fits?
  • A tour company wants to hand tablets to its passengers. Which product fits?
  • Why is a second product easier for an existing customer?

STQRY Signage. STQRY Kiosk is for interactive touch screens, where visitors explore the content themselves.

STQRY Fleet, which runs the tour on the company's own devices.

Because they can use everything they've already built in Builder. Their content, translations and branding are ready to go, so there's far less to set up.
